Overview
Placez allows the user to design floor plans and table décor with 2D and 3D renderings which can be shared with clients through a unique online event specific posting. Each posting is shareable as a custom event link.
Key Features
Augment Reality allowing digital objects such as settings, room plans and other elements to be directly overlaid into a live image of the space using a tablet or mobile device.
Customizable User Dashboard will show financial snapshots of revenue, event types, and room booking.
Custom library Placez offers a scene library of objects for room design elements such as furniture, chairs and design elements.
Room Templates are user friendly and entirely buildable. Commonly used floor plans and configurations can be saved as templates for easy selection for frequently used venues, rooms and set-up styles. Room templates are very user friendly to use and review.
Customizable Singular Event Dashboards allow images and color customization to reflect the name and type of event. Each event can have multiple tags and event types to accurately review event details. These dashboards come with event data collection for workforce and data management. Event dashboards have customer to event planner communication/chat capabilities to complete updates and design customer specific details for any event.
System Requirements
System operates both on Apple OS and Android platforms and mobile devices.
3D images must be in following 3D file formats
- OBJ
- STL
- SKP
Integrations
Integration with Event Management Softwares are available to communicate event details between systems. As of the official launch, Caterease is the only partner and it is a Caterease to Placez option. Currently only primary event information such as counts, times, locations etc are being sent which automatically creates the shared event in Placez upon export
User friendly software such as SketchUp, 3D Slash, AutoCAD can also be used to create 3D objects for import into Placez.
On-Boarding
Placez is pre-loaded with approximately 200 available 3D objects in the library. Custom objects can be purchased through on-line retailers or custom created for a fee for a pre-approved contractor who will create the 3D image for personal download.
There is no set up fee.
Fee Structure
There is an annual fee based on number of unique events per year
Additional charges are required for company/event specific accommodations including 3D renderings.
All clients with Caterease accounts are eligible for a 10% discount.
