Reviewed March 2020 by Chef John Reed, CEC, CCA

DocuSign has a simple e-signature and template building service for daily management. I have researched many different products and you can read all my reviews here.

Overview

DocuSign is an independent company with online e-signature plans for professional document signing. DocuSign provides subscription based packages based on the specific needs of the client.

Key Features

DocuSign can generate templates for different departmental needs. The two main packages include DocuSign eSignature and DocuSign SpringCM.

eSignature includes a free trial and eliminates errors, physical paperwork, and is accessible with any device that accesses internet. eSignature can also send reminders for signing and expedites contractual agreements.

SpringCM uses pre-populated information from other systems and records to generate documents and contracts for company use. This program utilizes dual party editing for real time document changes. There are separate packages depending on company size and needs. Different packages offer a certain number of users and envelopes for sending professional documents.

Additional Features

Mobile Applications DocuSign offers mobile applications, online payments, clause and document analysis, and single-click signing. There is an online Notary service and DocuSign promises privacy and identification services for extra protection.

Service Resources DocuSign’s network includes professional APIs and promises to follow all laws and regulations for company professionalism and error avoidance.

System Requirements

DocuSign is a cloud based system and is accessible on Apple, Google, and Windows products. To function, DocuSign requires internet access.

Integrations

DocuSign has over 350 popular integrations including Microsoft, Google, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Box , and Workday.

On-Boarding

There is no onboarding service for DocuSign but once an account is created, users can manually upload documents as templates for future use. Onboarding is user friendly and DocuSign offers online resources and a Quick Start guide for training.

Fee Structure

DocuSign offers a monthly subscription fee based on required package. There are fees for additional services and applications.

There are discounts available for annual over monthly payments. There is a free trial for 30 days with 100 envelopes.

Contact DocuSign for further information.

There is 24/7 support online and via phone with a ales team available from 7am – 5pm during regular business days.
